We all set goals. If you are like me, I have set goals and intended on pursuing them but either laziness or lack of motivation has stopped me dead in my tracks. I have written other blog posts on the fact that I have been trying to lose weight and get healthier but I did not make up my mind to follow through with that…until now.
My goal is to be off of blood pressure medicine by December 31 of this year. I have four months and a day to accomplish this. What makes me so sure that I can tackle something so crazy?
After watching Forks Over Knives and reading through Four Hour Body, there is no doubt in my mind that I can do this. It is all about nutrition. It does not mean that I cannot eat fast food, but it does mean that fast food is not a staple part of my nutrition plan.
The main thing or the HOW that I have done to accomplish this goal is to obliterate the government’s food pyramid and design my own.

4. Whole grains – Breads, Pasta, Rice etc.
5. Meat and Dairy
