The church in Antioch did not know about Peter’s involvement with what happened at Cornelius’ house. They did not know God’s plan was to redeem both Jews and Gentiles.
*In Antioch, the term Hellenists refer to Greek speaking gentiles.

The church in Antioch took up an offering for the church in Jerusalem. One church is not another church’s competition. They are on the same team.
