Applesauce Recipe

I found this recipe while looking for a different way to make baked cinnamon apples to put on top of pork chops. I made this recipe and it goes very well with pork chops. The actual recipe is called Sarah’s Applesauce, but I don’t know who Sarah is. Anyway, here is the recipe:

4 apples, peeled, cored, chopped – if you want a change in texture, don’t peel the apples.
3/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of white sugar
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

In a saucepan, combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon. Cover, cook over medium heat for 15 – 20 minutes.
When apples are soft, let them cool. Mash with a potato masher or a fork.
This dish makes 4 servings
