The name of the blog is The Passionate Pursuit of Christ. There are posts, book reviews, videos, and other random musings designed to help push us all to be more like Christ. I know that there might be a question like “If that is the case, then why are there recipes on the blog?” Good question. Here is the answer. There are recipes on the blog because I believe as disciples; we must also be disciplined in an area where most of us might be undisciplined….food. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? Galatians 5 also says that one of the fruits of the Spirit is self control. Why do we take that to mean anything but the area of food? The recipes on this blog are not all “healthy” but they do taste good and one should not over indulge in anything. The recipes (I hope) should remind you that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that we are responsible for what we put into them. Another side note is this…I do not usually cook anything that takes more than an hour. Who has time for that? Any recipe that I post that takes more than an hour total will probably be prepped the day before I decide to make it. I hope that you enjoy the recipes.
I would like to know if you have tried any and which ones you like. Hit up the comments.
