1lb ground beef
2 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup of ketchup
1 tsp onion powder
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
8 oz. Velveeta Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2 inch slices
red pepper flakes or hot sauce (optional)
Brown meat in large skillet and drain
Add water, ketchup, and onion powder. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni and cover. Simmer on medium-low heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
Stir in Velveeta and cook until melted. Stir occasionally.
This meal goes great with a vegetable like broccoli.
